With panes on two sides, the Morsø S140 provides entirely unique and optimal enjoyment of both warmth and well-being. With its calm "packaging" and large uninterrupted glass door, this inset provides an elegant and direct view of the fire. The Morsø S140 will automatically become a popular focal point, giving the room a distinct air of exclusivity.

The built-in fireplace distributes the heat efficiently throughout the room and leads to truly comfortable warmth. We all remember open fireplaces, but they have the unfortunate disadvantage that, just like a camp fire, they cause radiation in front and draughts behind. Morsø avoid this by using a firebox — the convection air in the stove mixes with the air in the room and distributes the heat, giving the greatest possible comfort near the fireplace.

The guillotine door is what sets the -42 apart. Where the S140-41 has a folding door with a self-closing system, the S140-42 uses a guillotine door closer which rises and elegantly disappears behind the wall. That means the fire can be run fully open, as a traditional fireplace, or closed for controlled, efficient burning — without a door hanging into the room in either state. The result is a large glass opening suited to both closed and open combustion.
